HLS, MPEG-TS, RTSP, RTMP, UDP and MPEG-DASH. Raw transport streams are a large share of real IPTV, and Apple's own player cannot open them at all.

Without a subscription you can play 20 channels from your library, with ads. Payment is charged to your Apple Account and renews monthly unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends.
